Levels of Facilities Requests

A risk posing a direct threat to the safety and health of the team and the building. These requests include issues such as electrical problems, heating and cooling failures, pipe bursts, etc.

A safety hazard does not require the same level of immediate attention as an emergency. Hazards create unsafe working conditions that can cause injury, illness, etc.

Major facility requests require timely maintenance because they may pose a risk in the near future. These issues may not require immediate attention but should be dealt with quickly in order to prevent an emergency, safety issue, or further damage. Examples include minor leaks, broken window, etc.

Minor facility requests do not pose a serious risk to the team or building and are not causing further damage. This could be light bulb replacements, minor repairs, touch-up paint, etc.

Replacement requests are well… things that need replacing. Examples include light bulbs, outlets, etc.

Janitorial requests involve anything related to cleaning or replenishing bathroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
